Ukraine boasts the first national collection in the NFT format. It was created by the UACatsDivision project team, as well as the online cryptocurrency media Incrypted and the UNITED24 platform.

The collection includes 10,000 images of the Ukrainian Armed Forces cats. Sales of the images in NFT format will start on February 22, 2023. It is expected that both the Ukrainian and global crypto community will be interested in the project. The UACatsDivision team also predicts that the national collection of cryptocurrencies may encourage newcomers to make their first purchases of non-fungible tokens.

The authors of the UACatsDivision project have set an ambitious goal to raise UAH 40 million for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The funds will be used to replenish the first Ukrainian army of marine drones with four technical developments. According to Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, naval drones are used for reconnaissance and destruction of enemy positions.

NFT-cats are expected to sell out quickly. They are expected to be of most interest to traders and collectors. After the purchase, the NFT cat is stored in the owner’s electronic wallet.

Reference:
NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are digital certificates stored on a blockchain. Unlike regular tokens, NFTs cannot be divided and replaced without losing their uniqueness and value.
