Norwegian Cruise Line

  • Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled its latest 3,220-guest cruise ship, the Norwegian Viva.
  • The Viva is the upcoming Norwegian Prima’s sister ship, which saw record bookings upon its debut.
  • See what it’ll be like sailing aboard the Viva, which has a go-kart track and 10-story slides.

On Wednesday, Norwegian Cruise Line unveiled the Norwegian Viva, its newest cruise ship complete with a go-kart track, food hall, and “ship-within-a-ship.”A rendering of the Norwegian Viva sailing at sea with a purple, pink, and dark blue sky.The Norwegian Viva

The unveil of Norwegian’s latest vessel comes a day after the cruising giant canceled sailings aboard 11 of its ships, citing “ongoing travel restrictions” as COVID-19 continues to spread aboard cruise ships.A rendering of the open-aired La Terraza with lounge chairs facing the ocean.La Terraza aboard the Norwegian Viva.

However, these disruptions haven’t stopped the popular cruise line from unveiling its latest 965-foot long ship, the sixth in its Prime Class.A rendering of the top deck and side of the Norwegian Viva as it sails on water at sunset. The Norwegian Viva.

Viva’s unveiling comes on the heels of its sister ship’s success: The Prima saw record bookings when it was first announced last year, the cruise line said in May 2021.A rendering of Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Prima sailing at sea with blue skies in the back.Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Prima.
