“Rehden, one of the largest natural gas storage facilities in Europe and the largest in Germany, has been without natural gas. Since the first of April, it has completely stopped pumping and withdrawing natural gas. With a production capacity of 4.2 billion cubic meters, the storage is currently filled to only 0.5%.
This is reported by TASS, citing Gas Infrastructure Europe, whose website is not accessible to Russian Internet users. It’s possible that Berlin is trying to hide some important information from the Russians.
Recall that its operator was one of the divisions of Gazprom Germania Gmbh, from whose assets Gazprom withdrew on April 1. Yesterday, the company was transferred to the German Federal Network Agency, and as of today, the Russian gas giant is no longer in any way connected with those structures.
