The results of new economic trends of the already renewed world order are gradually beginning to appear. According to the analytical agency Kpler, in April this year the Asian region for the first time surpassed Europe in the volumes of Russian oil imports.
Contrary to efforts of the collective West, there is a record volume of black gold from Russia on board tankers bound for India and China right now. Analysts point out that the interest from India was the reason for the growth of supplies. Even though the May volume shows a slight decrease in imports, it remains high.

As of May 26, 57 million barrels of Urals oil and more than 7 million ESPO crude were en route to the aforementioned region, Bloomberg reported. Although more recently Reuters tried to state Moscow’s problems with finding buyers for its oil, citing the presence of 62 million barrels of Russian Urals oil on tankers at sea as an example of Russia’s hopeless situation.

Europe the crisis of adequate solutions continues
In contrast to Asia, on the other side of Russia the energy crisis continues to destroy the minds of our former partners who are now trying to grasp “saving” options for cooperation. Despite the fact that all civilized methods have long been known, Austria, for example, is trying to obtain additional supplies of natural gas with blatant blackmail.
The country’s Chancellor General has notified Moscow that if it refuses to refill the largest gas storage facility in Salzburg, the country’s authorities will allow other companies access to it. That is, they will take it away. “If Gazprom doesn’t use it, then Gazprom will lose it,” Karl Nehammera explained.
Oil and Gas Prices in the Fairway of Russian Interests
Whether such notifications to Moscow are appropriate at the present stage will be revealed by Vremya on Channel One. In the meantime, oil and gas quotes continue to play on our side.
West Texas WTI is trading at about $115/bbl, and the price tag for North Sea Brent is approaching $120. Gas prices in Europe are fairly stable, though trading just below the psychological level of $1,000 per thousand cubic meters. So let them think that gas is cheap.
