Dow Jones Industrial leader Apple (AAPL) shares +2.9% reached another high of $170 per paper. Even yesterday, in a market downturn, AAPL were on the plus side amid the company’s huge cash flow, which allows it to withstand any downturn in the economy, and even benefit from it.
Apple on the lookout for your portfolio
There is every indication that Apple’s products are in increased demand, and this will potentially lead to a positive financial performance
.
Despite significant constraints in the so-called supply chain, the company expects record revenue for the first fiscal quarter. It should surpass the $111.4 billion level for the same period last year, CNBC reported.
Apple is using its cash flow not only to invest in new products, but also to pay dividends and repurchase its securities from the market, which gives its shares stability. And Bernstein analysts expect Apple to continue its buy back program for the next five years, while buying back about 3-4% of its stock per year and increasing its dividend per share by 10% annually.
If Omicron takes pity on investors and allows them to “celebrate” a Christmas rally this year, AAPL has a chance to set another investment record – becoming the first company whose capitalization exceeded $3 trillion.
Currently,
the brainchild of Steve Jobs is worth about $2.7 trillion, and to “three” shares need to reach a level of $190, which is quite achievable, given that to the specified level of upside is just over 11%

Oil at $125?
Oil prices are struggling to lick the wounds after the collapse of the recent days, during which the black gold lost 12-14% of its value. Prices of major oil grades barely show 2% growth. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is trading at $67.30 per barrel. The Brent price tag is slightly above $70.
It seems that the main focus of oil investors is the meeting of the OPEC+ oil cartel, which is to approve or change the current 400k production increase quota. The market fears the beginning of the confrontation between the production leaders and the US administration, which is most advocating for the decrease in the quotations. Most probably, this is the reason of uncertainty of buyers at oil market.
In the light of current events the situation gets completely out of fairway of JPMorgan analysts, who forecast growth of oil prices to $125 per barrel as early as next year, and to $150 in 2023. The experts of the American bank assess the coherence of the oil cartel in controlling the level of production and willingness to defend its interests.
