In a previous online press conference, Kai explains, “Smart has been a partner in reaching my goals since my Ateneo and Batang Gilas days. Having the opportunity and support system that I’m blessed with inspire me to pay it forward and give back to the youth who want to start early with pursuing their passion. Of course, priority is to help young Filipinos.”
His endeavors to inspire the youth include his current stint representing the Philippines in the Gilas Pilipinas national men’s basketball team, his international basketball career with the Adelaide 36ers of the Australian National Basketball League, and the establishment of his Kaiju Global Academy in Hamilton, Ohio, USA which will have a branch here in the Philippines soon.
