Just recently, Duke Energy Corporation and Exelon Corporation literally begged the Biden administration to remove trade restrictions on uranium suppliers to Russia.
The National Energy Institute (NEI), which unites nuclear energy companies, was bluntly alarmed by the move, as an entire sector of American industry could have been affected.
According to UxC LLC, Ux U3O8 benchmark uranium quotations rose to a decade high of $60 amid these developments. Investors are laying risks of possible economic restrictions on the largest producer of this product, the Russian state corporation Rosatom. It turns out they were right to do so.

In less than two weeks, the battle between insanity and reason in the U.S. Senate moved to a new stage and reached its climax. Let’s not get carried away, though. According to Kommersant, a group of Republican senators has introduced a bill banning the purchase of uranium from Russian suppliers.
“The time has come to permanently remove Russian energy resources from the American market,” said John Barrasso, one of the bill’s sponsors, cheerfully. “A ban on uranium imports from Russia would further weaken Russia’s war machine, help revive American uranium production and strengthen our national security,” the senator said in a statement.
It`s hard even to comment on this news, and it`s impossible to analyze the actions of the American madhouse. That the United States has thrown off its so-called masks is somehow understandable.
But the competition over anti-American projects that originate in the U.S. Senate is too much.
