TL;DR: The Infinity Cable charger is just $24.99 at the Mashable Shop as of Jan. 11.
It’s hard to believe after this many years, after dozens of phone releases, and after this many technological advances, that a magnetic charging cable that supports fast-charging for all devices didn’t exist until recently. But why dwell on the past? The future is here with ChargeASAP’s Infinity Cable.
The Infinity Cable is the first universal magnetic charging cable to support 100W PD charge, QC3.0/4.0 and data transfer for Apple, USB-C, and Micro-USB. Whether you’re charging up an Android phone, a MacBook Air, an iPhone, Samsung tablet, or practically any other gadget that charges via USB, the Infinity has you covered.
The cable comes with a tip for your devices — either Lightning, USB-C, or Micro-USB — which remains in the charging port. When it’s time to give it some juice, just hover the cable near the port and it automatically connects hassle-free, thanks to N54 grade neodymium magnets (the world’s strongest commercial grade magnets). Besides fast-charging your devices (Apple, Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus, and more), the Infinity Cable is also capable of two-way full-speed USB 2.0 data transfer at 480mbps between USB devices.
The cable itself is also incredibly tough. It’s made from quality military-grade nylon and temperature-resistant 9T plastic cable, which is less likely to be worn out by heat over time. Paired with the magnets, which are strong enough to hold an iPad Air (.96 pounds), this cable is hard to beat in durability — especially if you compare it to your typical Apple cable.
Thanks to the convenience of magnetic tips, you’ll avoid toppling your devices over when you trip on the cable as well. The magnets will simply pop out and your device will remain unharmed, like the MagSafe MacBooks of yesteryear.
These cables typically cost $55 a pop, but you can snag the Infinity Cable in your choice of Black Lightning, Blue Lightning, Black USB-C, or Black Micro-USB for just $24.99 for a limited time — 54% in savings.
