Business process outsourcing company, MDS Call Solutions, Inc. (MDSCSI) takes its voice and digital services up a notch with Globe. MDSCSI collaborated with Globe’s enterprise arm, Globe Business, to support its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud migration and SMS Application Programming Interface (API) integration.
“This year of recovery involves technologies that propel our success further. With the help of Globe Business, we’re able to take back the opportunities the pandemic took,” shared Patricia Calope, MDSCSI Managing Director. “Multiple lockdowns made it difficult to manage our on-premise servers. Our infrastructure needed to be replaced, with our equipment requiring round-the-clock upkeep and maintenance—amid IT teams operating at full capacity. If it weren’t for Globe’s assistance, we would’ve had many lost business opportunities, as it was becoming clear that our existing servers were not enough to help our company scale with the demand.”

MDSCSI handles customer orders for one of its biggest clients, Golden Arches Development Corporation (McDonald’s Philippines). With flexible and responsive service delivery at its core, the BPO company acquired SMS credits from Globe to remain in consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their orders. By migrating to AWS Virtual Private Cloud, MDSCSI was able to directly and securely connect its order fulfillment system to McDelivery’s digital app and website.
Calope further explained how her company now experiences the many advantages of becoming cloud-powered, “With Globe and AWS, we’re ready to address spikes in demand. Our IT teams can now focus on more important matters—initiatives that make our business even more innovative. We no longer need to worry about costs to maintain servers, since we pay for only the resources we use. The best part is, we can scale as big as we want because the Cloud knows no limits.”
